- Real Estate Appraisal School FAQS Are Bobbitt and Company Courses approved by State Real Estate Appraisal Authorities? All courses are approved in both Kansas and Missouri. Bobbitt and Company courses have been approved by the Real Estate Appraisal Board in Kansas and the Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission. The six 15-hour Pre-License Courses satisfy the 90-hour educational requirements for pre-license in both Kansas and Missouri. How can I maintain my work schedule and stay current or prepare for my license exam? Bobbitt and Company Courses fit your schedule. You can choose from multiple course options and each course is held several times at convenient locations. Bobbitt and Company Pre-License Courses are offered on the weekends and weekdays. Courses begin on time and end on time. Most courses begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break. The 3-hour course begins at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. The 4-hour course begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 noon. Who actually teaches the courses and what are their qualifications? All Bobbitt and Company Courses, except the National Uniform Standards Course (USPAP) and the National Uniform Standards Update Course, are taught by Rick Bobbitt, who is both an experienced instructor and practicing appraiser for both Kansas and Missouri. In addition, Rick was a lender at local financial institutions for over 20 years. All National Uniform Standard Courses and National Uniform Standards Update Courses are taught by AQB Certified USPAP Instructor Robert K. Bates. Robert has extensive teaching experience including teaching at Central Missouri State College and Longview Community College. Do you offer the new National USPAP Course? Continuing Education courses are held at our new offices at 10580 Barkley, Suite 440, Overland Park, KS, at the Hilton Wichita Airport Executive Conference Center in Wichita, KS and the Best Western Airport Inn in Wichita, KS.
