Are Bobbitt and Company Courses approved by State Real Estate Appraisal Authorities? All QE & CE courses are approved in both Kansas and Missouri. All Qualifying Education courses have been approved by the Kansas Real Estate Appraisal Board, Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission and the Iowa Real Estate Appraiser Examining Board. In addition, the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board will accept any Bobbitt and Company Qualifying Education courses if the course is taken in Kansas. Eight Qualifying Education Courses satisfy the 150-hour educational requirements for pre-license in both Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. Three advanced courses provide the required 50 additional hours for the certified residential license in these states as well.
How can I maintain my work schedule and stay current or prepare for my license exam? Bobbitt and Company Courses fit your schedule. You can choose from multiple course options and each course is held several times at convenient locations. Courses begin on time and end on time. Most courses begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break. The 3-hour course begins at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. The 4-hour course begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 noon.
Who actually teaches the courses and what are their qualifications? Bobbitt and Company has three highly experienced instructors who are active appraisers in Kansas and Missouri. Richard Bobbitt is both an experienced instructor and owner of Bobbitt and Company who was a lender at local financial institutions for over 20 years. All National Uniform Standard Courses and National Uniform Standards Update Courses are taught by AQB Certified USPAP Instructor Robert K. Bates. Robert has extensive teaching experience including teaching at Central Missouri State College and Longview Community College. Julie Molendorp holds a teaching degree in Missouri and sits on the board of the Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission.

Where are the courses held? Pre-License and Continung Education courses are held at Career Education Systems classrooms located in the Ward Parkway Mall at 8600 Ward Parkway, Ste 130 in Kansas City, MO. Additionally Continuing Education courses are held in Wichita, KS and Columbia, MO. (See maps.)Courses are held in meeting rooms which are comfortable for the attendees and conveniently located. This makes attending a full day course much easier!

What do I receive as proof of course completion? Certificates are presented at the end of each course for all states registered.
