OPERATING POLICIES
- Attendance is mandatory for all course hours advertised. Completion certificates are withheld if student is not present for the clock hours as approved by the state.
- Payment is required on or before the beginning of class. Payment ensures registration. Visa, MasterCard and Discover purchases must be approved prior to class beginning. No discount is charged students for the use of Visa, MasterCard or Discover cards. A $15.00 fee will be charged for all checks returned for "insufficiant funds" or any other reason by your bank or financial institution.
- No refunds will be given to students who fail to show for class and do not call our office prior to the beginning of class to cancel or transfer to another class.
- Late enrollment (24 hours or less prior to class) and walk-ins without pre-enrollment will be charged an additional $25.00 administrative fee.
- Withdrawal from any paid and registered course with seven (7) or more days notice prior to scheduled course date will result in a refund offset by a mandatory $25 administrative fee. Withdrawal from any paid and registered course less than seven (7) days prior to scheduled course date will result in a mandatory $50 administative fee. Transfer of enrollment from one course to another will result in a $25 administrative fee.
- The cost of textbooks is included in all course fees. Optional books may be ordered at student expense.
- Student is expected to provide all calculators, pens, paper and other materials to aid them in the completion of course. Bobbitt and Company provides textbook and any handout material required for course.
- Recommendations will be made to student for additional discretionary materials they may wish to purchase on their own, however no endorsement or requirement is made by Bobbitt and Company of these additional materials.
- All license numbers of students are required at time of registration. Continuing Ed students will receive a completion certificate at the completion of the course. Qualifying Education students will recieve a completion certificate upon passing the exam at the end of the course. Additional copies of completion certificates will reprinted for a fee of $10 for each completion certificate.
- Prepayment in any pre-license course by check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover 14 calendar days in advance of class will allow enough time for textbook(s) to be mailed to student prior to class if requested. An additional fee will be charged for the cost of shipping the textbook(s). Textbooks may not be returned should student withdraw from that course; and the refund for the course will be reduced by the cost of the book including postage and handling along with the withdrawal fee (see#6).
- All course cancellations will be the decision of Course Coordinator when due to weather, illness of instructor etc. and all students will be notified at all phone numbers and email addresses provided Bobbitt and Company by student. Should weather become inclement and travel hazardous a course cancellation by Course Coordinator will include full refund of course fee. No travel/motel expenses will be reimbursed. Please feel free to contact Bobbitt and Company should the potential for course cancellation become a question.
- Once a course has begun, the course will not be cancelled during the time class is in session. It will be completed rain or shine! The question of hazardous travel following the completion of said class is at the discretion of student; again, travel expenses incurred by student shall not become a liability of Bobbitt and Company.
- Hotel room discounts have been obtained at the various locations. Bobbitt and Company is neither responsible or liable for any availability, change or negotiation of room rates at these locations. It is imperative that students make their own hotel room reservations and guarantee them if necessary.
